Alfred Belford Luck died in Campbell County 8 Jan 1888 and is buried at Bethel (Old Enon) Cemetery Stonewall Tell Rd., S Fulton County, GA.
Alfred and Rebecca were already married when they came to GA as on the census all children were born in GA. I grew up in S Fulton County and there is a Buffington Rd. off S Fulton Parkway off I-285 in Atlanta, GA. The Buffington family is hard to trace. Buffington Rd. runs from GA Hwy. 29 to Fayetteville, Fayette County, GA. That is a long way. Since women and children were not listed on census by name until 1850 it is extremely hard to trace women and children if they married prior to that time. Campbell County was formed from Carroll, Coweta DeKalb & Fayette Counties 20 Dec 1828. Since I know the area Buffington Rd is located in I believe all of the Buffingtons lived in Fayette County which became Campbell.
