Thanks so much for answering my post. I've recently learned that my Joseph Black was listed in the 1860 Cobb County Census. A descendant also researching this family sent me a copy of the page listing Joseph Black from the 1860 Cobb Co GA, 1870 Coweta Co GA, and the 1880 Coweta CO GA census.

Now I'm trying to figure out why their daughter Surville (Sirvilly) Villia Black was only listed in the 1880 census with her parents. She was born 9 Sep 1865 and died in Aug 1932 (according to her death announcement in the LaGrange Daily news 9/2/1932.)

She was not listed with her family in the 1870 Coweta county census.

She was married to James J. (J.J.) Addison. They had 8 children.

I know this was more information than you asked for, but I thought I'd send it out in one Post.

Thanks again for responding to my post.
