I don't know if this is coincidence or not, but Lucinda Rogers a sibling of my ancestor married a Thomas Russell, 1833 would be the right time frame, and both her brother's lived in Carroll co. Ga at one time or another Lucinda I think died, so did this Thomas, but they had a son, william Newton russell. I found a gedcom online, but other than 1850 census, I haven't been able to find them, Jen
