Thank you so VERY much for this wonderful information.

It is just the kind of documentation that one hopes to find for proof of a line.

I believe I found information after I posted my message that Levi John Wooden Turner filed for an likely received a pension for his Civil War Service while living in Texas. His widow did also.

The name was spelled on that as "Wooden" but of course we know how those names then often were in a spelling that might vary from actuality. No doubt Wooden and Wooten were the same.
