I am researching my wife's maternal parents who were Blackwelders, we think from the Bowdon area. Her Great Grandfather was Ellison Elam Blackwelder, b 1824 in SC. Her Great Grandmother was Permelia Miller Eidson, b 1829. If anyone can help, we will be grateful. We would like to make a trip to the Bowdon area but would like to have something to start on.
