I was just wondering if someone in Carroll Co. GA would be so kind as to look up a marriage license? I am looking for a marriage license of Minta (Minty?) J. Barber and Temperance Jones. I have a date of their marriage of October 12, 1842. I do not know if that is accurate, but it would fit the time frame. I know their marriage would be between 1840 & 1844.
Also, one more marriage look-up. I am looking for a marriage license of a male Barber (first name not known) and an Isabella (last name not known). Their marriage would also be between 1840 &1845.
I don't know for sure if these marriages occurred in Carroll Co., but evidence points to that. Minta Barber & Temperance were in Campbell Co. GA on the 1850 census. They lived just east of the Carroll Co. county line. I believe Minta is connected to the Carroll Co. Barbers that one finds listed on the 1840 Carroll Co. census.
