Could this have been New Hope Primitive Baptist Church? It's always described as being in Villa Rica, a town in extreme east Carroll County, tho the church & cemetery are almost square on the county line in Douglas County just north of U.S. Hwy. 78 on Industrial Parkway. You might e-mail the Carroll County Genealogical Society for details. If the church was "AT New Hope," that would mean at a community of that name. I don't know of a Carroll County community/town called New Hope.
