This is a VERY IMPORTANT update to the previous message.
Committees for publication were formed during the TIME LINE for this publication. ALL articles and copies of pictures should be sent to me before January 31, 2004. Publication of the book will be in the fall of 2004.

Remember, if your ancestor(s) came to Chattooga Co. in 1860 or before, your Pioneer article may be 1000 words (double-spaced) with a copy of 2 pictures. (No pictures will be returned.) When you have a pioneer ancestor, you may use these 1000 words in one story or two...and the pictures can be used in either. Other family history stories about those families entering the county after 1860 may be 500 words in length (double-spaced) with a copy of 1 picture. There is no charge for submitting these articles and pictures. Extra words cost 10 cents each, additional pictures, $12.50.
Along with the family articles, people with interesting stories about places, events, businesses, schools, churches, special personalities, etc. are invited to submit those as well.
Pages 'In Memorium' may be purchased as well as business advertisements. I invite your questions regarding these.
The prepublicaiton price of the book is $49.50 plus $3.50 GA tax and $7.00 s/h charges. Total Price: $60.00. Contact me if you have questions or would like to purchase this book prior to publication. Supplies may be limited afterward.
