I am searching for the children of Simon Sabel/Sable. I think they were born between 1935 & 1945.
I don't know what is actual fact, but the story I have is this:
Simon was a barber in Savannah. He married Marie Louise Moody, daughter of Louis Preston Moody & WilliJo Deloach Moody. They had two daughters - Sadie and Christine. Simon and Louise divorced and Simon kept the girls. I've been told that Simon was of Jewish descent. Simon later married an ex- Catholic nun and they raised the girls. I do not know if they had any other children.
Louise is my grandmothers sister. This is a branch of the family tree that we have no knowledge of. Louise was noted to be quite the "wild one" in her day. Louise also has an older daughter, Linda, that was adopted by her aunt.
Louise died Jan 30, 1971 of pneumonia in New York City. She is buried in Little Flock Cemetery in Tattnall county, GA
Any information would be greatly appreciated -
