Thank you for the wonderful email regarding the book about Wilmington Island and the Barnard Family. I will certainly look into purchasing it. I have spoken in the past with a genealogist at Georgia Historical Society about the possible locations of the Barnard Cemeteries on Wilmington Island; but they were not able to assist me. I always have good intentions to visit Hodgeson Hall when I visit family and friends in Savannah; but time always gets away from me and I usually contact them via mail and email when I arrive back home. In an article in the Savannah Morning News in 1936 a Barnard Crypt is mentioned as still being in existence and that of a Gibson Family Crypt on Whitemarsh Island. The article really was about vandalism of the Gibson Crypt. I have never heard of Nonchalance - love that title!
