You're very welcome. I plan to go to the Historical Society and another source in the next few weeks to try and find more information, which I'll be delighted to share with you. If I can locate the exact property where these crypts are, I'll be happy to play tour guide the next time you're in Savannah and take you straight to them. I'm certain they're on private property, but if we ask to see them, perhaps the owners will allow a picture or two. Several years ago we dug up the remains of a post surrounded by tabby buried about 6" below ground level on our own property. I've wondered since then where we are in relation to some of the old properties like the Barnards, which I suspect we're right in the middle of.I'm fascinated by old maps, so that's what I'll be searching for: the earliest property maps I can locate.
