Laurel Grove Burials - on-line is a possibility

Was in Savannah from Mar 26 thru 31st and spoke to the cemetery manager at Laurel Grove. He said they (the City) are working on a project in which they hope to be able to post the burials on-line in the near future. So, stay tuned.

Plus, they are making great strides in rehabilitating some of the older crypt graves there by having stone masons come in and save the old graves.

I still have not heard from the Bonaventure Cemetery Society about them publishing the remaining portions of that cemetery. They published sections A - H years ago and had supposedly completed a survey of the burials of the other parts of the cemetery a couple of years ago, but nothing has materialized.
