I am trying to get in touch with anyone interested in the preservation of St. Andrew's Chapel Cemetery on HWY 369 within 1 mile of the Forsyth County Line in Cherokee County. Sirnames burried here are: Donald, Dooly, Farmer, Floyd, Francis, Gilstrap, Hardin, McGillivrae, Moore, Pascoe, Tomlinson, Wilkie, and Wyatt. There are more unmarked graves then marked. I am very interested in getting in touch with descendants of people burried without a marker. We are forming a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration of this historic cemtery. Please contact me: mrsballew@tds.net This cemetery is one of the last traces of the Creighton / Franklin/ Pascoe mining communities.
