I have information that a John Tabb adopted a girl Carrie in the late 1860s. She was evidently a twin. The twin passed. Her parents died and the sheriff of Clay County found her a home as a baby. This was, according to info I was given, a John Tabb.
Anyone with info on this please contact me. There may be a record in the county Sheriff's office if you would be willing to check.
