Searching for any information on the life/kin of Joshua B. Parker
who is listed at dwell #672 in the 1870 Clayton Co. census with wife?
Elizabeth R. (46) and children, George G. (22), John? Wesley(21),
and William B. (17). Joshua B. was born ~ 1827
Joshua B. is also listed in the Henry Co., GA 1850 census #1631
as J.B. (23) with wife? E. H?.(27), son J.A. (4), son G.G. (3) and
son J.W. (2)
Joshua B. + family is also living on the same farm as Mary and
Margaret V. Hancock in the 1860 Clayton Co. GA census #364
p 125 -- J.B. (33), E.R (36), sons J.A. (14), G.G (13), J.W. (11),
T?J. (9), W.B. (7)
Mary B. Hancock is my gggg grandmother, and I need
to know who this Joshua was and why Mary is living with his
family. Mary was widowed in ~ 1845, and I think her husband's
name may have been Albert G. Hancock
I think the clue to this mystery is Elizabeth R. Is this Joshua's
second wife, and what is her maiden name????
any help on this would be most appreciated!
