Hi Sue,

Thanks for replying to my message. I have a lot of Stanfield information but I have not gone through it in a while. I found a William H. Stanfield in my records that was born about 1855. His mother was named Elizabeth and his father was named E. J. Elizabeth was born about 1836 and E. J. was born about 1828. The siblings that I have for William are George, Andrew, Edney, Mary, and Lula. Most of this information came from census records so it is a bit rough. I have more information that I will have to dig out and go over again. Joseph was a very common name with the GA Standfields so it can be tricky to keep them straight. E. J. may have been a Joseph and just used his initials to avoid confusion with another Joseph Standfield. This was a common practice. Let me know if any of this information fits with what you have and if it does I can look further in my files. Feel free to drop me an email if you like.
