Lynda: I am the gg granddaughter of Frances Roberts who married Andrew Jackson Puckett in 1837, in Coweta Co. GA. My Frances/Francis was b about 1816, GA but I have not had any luck in finding her family of origin. The name could have been Mary Francis & a middle initial in one census was "E". One of Frances & Andrew's daughters, Mittie A. (Puckett) Hembree was living in Clayton Co. GA in the 1920 census but I have no further info on her either. Would you happen to have a Roberts who fits this description? I believe that my Frances lived her married life in Coweta Co. but could have moved after 1870. Andrew Puckett died in about 1865. There was a connection to E. AL also but don't know if she ever moved there herself. Thank you.
