Looking for information on CHARLES WADE COWART and family. Charles was born in Brooks County Oct 21, 1876. He married Ann Sirmans in 1902 and later Lena Elizabeth Barrow. Thee may have been other spouses as well. He died in the VA Hospital in Lakeland, Florida on Sept 3, 1949. He served in the Phillipine uprising in 1900, where he contracted malaria and was eventually medically discharged. Some know children are: (with Sirmans) Catherine E.;Mabell; Jessie J.;Lillie; Willie E.; and Lida. With (Barrow) Herman Talmadge who I know was one of many children by this marriage. Charles lived in Clinch County in 1923 and in Claxton in 1934. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
