I recently obtained a copy of a death certificate for my ancestor, Louisa (Louizer) A. Brown Anderson.
The funeral home was listed as: Black Undertaking Company, Marietta, GA.
Is this funeral home still in business? Would you know if they have kept funeral records dating back to 1922 and if so, would they provide a copy?
If the business no longer exists, was it sold or consolidated with another funeral home?
If it no longer exists, does anyone know, if there are copies of the funeral home records that exist, perhaps in a library or cemetery book?
I am interested in the actual funeral record, since many times, there is more information on them, than a death certificate.
I would appreciate any help you could provide and will pay for copies and gas, if someone can obtain this copy for me.
