Will of Richard DAVIS is listed in an index of Unrecorded Wills of Kershaw County, South Carolina; Records found in judgement rolls as early as 1766 indicate a 'Richard DAVIS' resided in this area; Richard DAVIS witnessed several wills in this area; Richard DAVIS owned land in Colleton County, South Carolina; later owned land on Indian Head, Colleton County, South Carolina, circa mid to late 1760s; Richard DAVIS was enumertated in a pool of petit jurors in that area 1776; Richard DAVIS later owned land on Savannah River, Beufort District, South Carolina, circa 1815 [this in particular, circa 1815] may have been his son, Richard]; will of Richard DAVIS is found in Kershaw County, South Carolina, dated 4 May 1815; we are interested in learning more about the family of Richard DAVIS and his wife, HANNAH--about their parents, their children, marriages, etc...; and are interested in locating where they are buried....
