I'm trying to find info on this Benjamin W. Griggs who joined the Confederate Army of Co. B of the 41st Ga. Infantry from Cobb County, Ga. This guy deserted. Does anyone have any ideal when he was born? There were two men named Benjamin W. Griggs who joined the Confederate army & I'm trying to figure out which one was a son of my grt. grt. grandfather.
