I have some old photos of people I believe were/are from Coffee County that I found in some of the papers of Myrtice Juanita "Ann" Maine, my late mother. Seeking to find relatives of the following:
1) Florence Anderson -- photo taken around 1940 shows a young woman probably in her early 20s, meaning birthdate ca. 1920. Photo may have been taken in Miami. She was my mother's 1st cousin, but I don't know how. (My grandmother was Myrtice Hester and my grandfather was Bill Maine.)
2) June Lee Braswell -- toddler around 1942. Photo may have been taken in Miami.
3) Orealine(Wealine?)and Billy Mayne, both b.ca. 1927. Photo was taken for their 50th wedding anniv. in 1996.
4) M.T. "Snooks" Barnes in 1918, son of Martha Hester, who lived in Augusta.
5) Three photos of Lois and S.B.Grantham (and unnamed pony)
taken in 1918-1920. They were ch. of Bessie Hester. They also lived in Augusta.
If you or someone you know are related to any of these folks, let me know. Just e-mail me your name, address and how you're related, and I'd be glad to send them to you. I just couldn't throw them away. Somebody out there must want them.
