Bernice Yes, this is the correct Atlanta. Her father was Henry Clay Hazen and her mother was Francis Jane Douglas Hazen. And if Lillie was the mother of Atlanta and Martin James Taylor was the father, then she would not have been a half sister, but a whole sister to my grandmother Estelle and the other brothers and sisters. If Atlanta named the little girl Perlina and Pinkie was her nickname, I wonder if that would help. Lillie had her first child in Dec 1898 after being married Nov 1897 at age 13. Lillie died in 1914 after the family had moved to Coffee county, GA. So I wonder if any of her sisters lived in the Pearson area. Maybe Martin fathered a child between his 2 wives. His 2nd wife was also Lilly (Solomon) and they married on 12 Dec 1915. I have seen several family trees posted for Atlanta, but there are some major mixups. The daughter, Ida Bell married Albert Bryant Woods per his death certificate, so that still leaves the unknown daughter that no one seems to know anything about or if they've simply confused her and Ida Bell. I've corresponded with one of the grandsons and he's as confused as I am. I am very interested in the death certificate for John Henry Rimes or Rhymes. I knew my grandmother had a stillborn male and a female in the 1920's, but I didn't know of a child with a name that was a male. Could you get me a copy of the certificate? She also had a little girl named Redetha Rhymes who died around 1927 that I would love to have the cert. for. And now that's all I can think of tonight. Agh!
