I'm trying to find information on my great great grandfather- John Wesley Wilcox. He was born in Appling County (now Jeff Davis) on September 20, 1844 and died in Irwin County (now Coffee County) on August 24, 1871. He was married to Eliza Harper born in 1846 in Telfair County and she died around 1880.
They were married on Aug 1, 1866. According to my father's records John Wesley is buried right over the Coffee/ Irwin line in a private cemetery. They lived according to the 1870 census in Subdivision 31 in Coffee County, GA.
I'm also trying to find information on my great, great, great grandfather John Wilcox born July 17, 1808 in Montgomery County, GA and died December 30, 1884 in Jeff Davis County, GA. His second wife was Frances Lott born Jan 23, 1826 in Ware County, GA and died March 3, 1885. They were married on April 13, 1839. They lived in District 437 in Coffee County, GA.
Any information on them would be greatly appreciated.
