Seeking descendants of Arthur Brooks (1874-1959) and his 1st wife, Elizabeth Trout, and his 2nd wife Evie Rooks Stanley (1886-1970). Would like to know where they are buried. Would also like to hear from anyone who knows, or knows of, Doris Brooks (Mrs. Lamar Cole), Effie Brooks (Mrs. Truett Meeks), Virginia Brooks (Mrs. Howard Holton), Martha Brooks (Mrs. James Purvis Hobby), T. W. Brooks & wife Dottie Barclay, or Sidney Brooks & wife Myrtle. Surely there must still be some relatives in Douglas ??? Arthur Brooks was my great-uncle; I am trying to put together a Brooks family history, and will share what information I have about the rest of the family with those who would like it.
