I think that this may be your Whitleys: 1920 Cook County Ga Census:Dist 1664 156 157 Whitley, Lee B, 64, born Ga, father NC, mother GA, farmer Carrie, wife, 40 Pearl, dau, 15 Minnie L, dau, 14 Silver E, Son, 11 Mallichi, son, 9 Asa (Ava?) B, dau ? 4/12 1910 Coffee County' Nicholes Dist Whitley, Leavy B, 55, second marriage, married 7 years, born Ga, mother and father born Ga; Minister Carrie 30, first marriage Pearl G,dau, 6 Minnie L, , dau, 4 Setures E, son, 2 Malicki, son 4/12 Hursin (Hursin, Huyin?, really can't make out the name) Artie M. Mother, 70, 5 births, 4 living, born Ga 14 14 I couldn't find them on the 1900, 1880, or 1870 census. I think that the mother had remarried by 1870 and child are listed under the step father's name, and as the name is so unclear on the 1910 census for the mother, I really couldn't check very well for them on the census indexes. 1860 Mitchell County Census 115 120 Allen Whitley, 27, born NC Arameta, 22 Levi B, 5 William J, 4 Julia A, 2 James A, 1 Allen Whitley married Artemiss Cox in Thomas County Ga, on April 19, 1854. Hope this helps. Bernice Notify Administrator about this message?
