Desire information about Senous Marion Griner, born 1849 Baker Co., GA; died after 1930 (he appeared in the 1930 Colquitt Co. census)
His parents were James Griner and Arsiny.......I believe her maiden name was Swilley and that she was the daughter of Zenas Swilley (1789 - abt 1872). I think that S. M. Griner's first name was a phonetic spelling of "Zenas." It is listed in various censuses as Senus, Senos, Senous, and Cenus. If one of his descendants could help me prove the maiden name of his mother, it would help me tremendously!
What I have learned from census records is:

(The Griner family was listed 3 pages away from the Zenas Swilley family in the Baker Co. census.)
1860 census - have not found him
1870 Decatur Co., GA census
Senos M. Griner, age 19, living with his parents and several siblings
1880 census - Have not found him
