I am looking for Sadie Lillian (Crook) Johnson's family. Sadie married John J. Johnson in 8/25/1897, and they lived in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia. Sadie was originally from Lincoln County, Georgia. John died 5/4/1942. Sadie spent her last two years living with her daughter Louise (Johnson) Sanders in Knoxville, Tenn, where she died on October 30, 1962. Funeral services were held at 3:30pm on 11/1/1962 at Poteet Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. The Rev. Edgar Welch, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church (Augusta), officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Augusta. Pallbearers were B.T. Turner, W.R. Thigpen, F.L. Queen, G.D. Widener, J.H. Moseley and Otis Jackson.
