Joseph Jones; David Langston; Thomas Napier?; 17 Aug 1798

Can anyone identify the Joseph Jones shown above? Were David Langston or his wife kin to Joseph. I am trying to determine if this is the same Joseph Jones who married Jane “Jennie” Nelson February 05, 1818 in Columbia County. Jane was the daughter of Charles and Lydia (Hand) Nelson.

In his 1805 will Charles Nelson names his wife and John Langston as Executors. The Nelson’s lived on Germany Creek and for a number of years had a Langston as a neighbor. Unfortunately, all the tax records show is the surname. Does anyone know the relationship, if any, between David Langston & John Langston? Any help appreciated. Gearl
