Columbia Land Districts 1807-1808

Is there anyone knowledgeable of the land districts in early Columbia Co. who could tell me how to locate the 9th district. My ancestor, John Castle, received a grant of land and the grant says John Castle of the 9th district of Columbia County. I am trying to prove he is the same John Castle/Cassel who is on earlier records as on Germany's Creek and Little River and in area of Wrightsboro settlement. The DAR is requiring that I get more definitive proof that this man named John Castle who drew land in 1807 lottery was same John Castle who received bounty headright grant in Richmond Co as refugee soldier proving that man's revolutionary service. To sum it up, I need a source to locate District 9 in 1807-1808. Coincidentally I believe I am asking about the same man that the last post on this site concerned and was posted by Dale Cassell. thanks for the slightest hint. Larealia
