I would like to find more on the following:
Vinson Nichols married Elizabeth McCook, 20 Dec. 1827.
Benjamin Nichols married Mary C. McCook, 30, Jan. 1834.
J. J. Nichols married Mary McCook, 23 Sept. 1874.
All three of these marriages took place in Crawford Co., GA.
Although I would like to know more in regard to the Nichols men, my interest mostly lies with these McCook women.
Where were they from, who were their parents and what, if any McCook family connections do they share.
I have an old document which belonged to my great grandfather which concerns the sale of land for an
M. A. M. Nichols. I would like to find out, if possible who this was. My great grandfather had a sister named Mary McCook and her age would fit the criteria for the Mary married in 1874.
If anyone can shed some light on these McCook/Nichols family lines, I will appreciate the help very much.
