Jesse Harper was unlikely to be Samuel Harper, Sr's, son, although it's tempting to wish he were. There's several competing possible parents for him, with Samuel being one of the weaker. Samuel Harper's will can be found at: “Will & Estate Records for Samuel Harper,” Miscellaneous Loose Records of the Inferior Court and Court of Ordinary, Probate Court, Crawford County, Georgia, record group 139, sub-group no. 2, series no. 1, Georgia Department of Archives and History, Atlanta, GA. It is a brief will, that directs that his property belong to his wife Mary during her lifetime, then be distributed amongst his children. The children are not named. Good luck :) Naomi Notify Administrator about this message?
