A brother of my G Grandfather was Tazewell B. Hill, b. 1837 in Missouri. His second wife was named Amanda. I've always assumed that the second marriage occured in Missouri. I just fould on the USGenWeb site for Crawford Co., Georgia a marriage database listing Tazewell Hill marrying Amanda Ross on 30 Dec 1873. Tazewell's first wife d. 12 Mar 1873. It looks like a fair possibility that this Crawford Co. marriage could have been my uncle Tazewell's.
Does anyone have any further details on this Amanda Ross and/or Tazewell Hill? I'm guessing that Amanda was from a Crawford Co. family, either related or old family friends with the Hill family from Virginia. Thanks in advance for any help.
