My wife’s great-great-grandfather, Henry Newsom died in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia on May 6, 1860. One of her cousins has written that: “Henry and his wife are buried at the Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Crawford County, GA, just over the Bibb County line.” I have since found that this is on Hwy 80 on the bank of the Echeconne Creek. During October 2009 my wife and I will be driving from Atlanta on Interstates 75 and 16 through central Georgia on our way to vacationing at Hilton Head, South Carolina and, if possible, would like to visit Henry’s gravesite during that time, but are concerned that we might not be able to locate it in a reasonable length of time. Is there anyone who would let us know where Henry's grave site is located within that cemetery?
