William C. Jacobs moved his family to
Pateville (Crisp County) area in 1879 from Houston Co.His mother was Nancy James Jacobs.All his children are listed in his bible but on a page by it self is the name of James Rufus
James.I don't know who this person is. I have found his name in old copies of the Dispatch.Once when a hog was stolen from his farm and another when someone was cut on his farm.He also lived in the pateville area.If anyone knows why James Rufus James would be in my g grandfather's bible I would like to know.
