I don't have the marriage records for those years, but I can tell you that many, many people got married in Dade Co. For years, there was a Justice of the Peace in Rising Fawn who married hundreds of couples. The Greyhound bus would stop at this house long enought for a couple to get off and get married. Then later, even up throught the 1970's, Trenton was a very popular place to get married because it was one of the few places where you could get a blood test, get the results and get married all in the same day.
