William and Ephraim Boyd, 1840

Seeking information about William or Ephraim Boyd (brothers). William's wife was Mary (Polly) Johnson. They had four children born in GA: R. (possibly Robert) in 1839, William in 1841, Thomas H. in 1843 and Mary Jane in 1845. Ephraim's wife was Martha and their children born in GA: Jefferson and Alexander (twins) born in 1840 and Elizabeth born in 1844. Both families appear in 1840 census. Seeking evidence of these births or land records. Both families moved to TX between 1846-48. Their sister, Mary BOYD Cross died in Dade Co. in the 1880s and may still have family there today. Any clues would be appreciated.
