The guardanship paper is dated 1854 and shows Enoch B. Ketcherside and Albert L Brown as her sons. One by James Brown and the other by James Ketcherside. I do not have any other info on Albert other than what is found in the census and the guardianship paper. I can email you a scan of the guardianship paper if you like. James Brown and Mary Cartwright are my great, great, great grandparents. There son James William (b. Dec 29, 1830- d. July 29, 1902) was the father of Enoch Blackburn Brown (b. Feb. 11, 1869 - d. Jan. 11,1943), Enoch was the father of Sarah Ethel Brown, my granny. Have you been to Long Cemetery in Rising fawn? On each side of Mary's grave are unmarked adult graves. Sue Forrester told me one is assumed to be James Brown. I don't know about that though. Mary's grave is surrounded by an iron fence. The same kind of fence surrounds Andrew's grave. Why would he not have included both his parents graves? How are you related? I'm sure I would know if I back tracked all the emails and post but can't right now recall. Thank you, Kim Buffington Notify Administrator about this message?
