So glad to hear from a distant cousin.

What a coincidence. Just yesterday, I was researching William Jordan Kelley and found him in 1900 Etowah Al census, wife Rebecca, children John, William, Andrew and Myrtle. Which one is your ancestor?

The Pollard Kelley you mentioned is my great-grandfather, brother to William, born in 1812. I have a bible that names Pollard, his parents and siblings with dates of birth:

John Kelley born on 12 March 1786
Elizabeth ? born 24 Feb 1789
James Kelley born 21 Oct 1810 in SC
William Kelley, Sr. born 24 Jan 1812 in SC
Hardy Kelley born 30 Nov 1813 in SC
Susana Kelley born 27 Nov 1815 in SC
Mary Kelley born 18 Feb 1818 in SC
Melinda Kelley born 24 Feb 1820 in SC
Joel Kelley born 1 Feb 1822 in SC
Pollard Kelley born 10 Jul 1824 in SC
Elizabeth Kelley born 2 Aug 1828

Several of the children (maybe all of them) came to Lumpkin Co. (now Dawson CO. Ga.) I have not found his parents in Dawson Co. census or SC. I believe John was born in VA, but have no proof.

Where in Texas do the descendants live?
