My great grandparents, Moses E. Boyd and Jane Mitchell were married in Dawson Co. Georgia on January 19, 1865 by P. Blanton, Minister of the Gospel. Jane Mitchell was born and raised in the neighboring county, Forsyth Co. GA. I have lots of information on her family. For many years I've searched for parents and/or siblings for Moses Ervin Boyd to no avail. There are lots of Boyds in that general part of Georgia but I can't connect him with any of them. Some where I hope there is a link in a bible or other document. Moses and Milly moved to Texas. Moses have been shown up in census records in SC and GA so far. Later census records after they came to Texas indicate he was born in 1849 in South Carolina. If anyone finds a Moses or Ervin Boyd born in 1849 in SC please contact me. Thanks.
