Hello Jane,I too am a Hunter of the Martin Surname,BUT,I would like to try and Help you as well as Myself,SO,I want you to Check all of The Martins who once Settled along the Little Saluda River in SC.There had Been many of them,and a Lot of Them Married Smiths and Crenshaws.The Margaret Martin who was Listed as a Bonds Person in Old Pendelton Co,SC is MINE..I had a Lot of The Martins along the Little Saluda at one time but Lost it all in the Flood of 2008 in July.and also my Son 69 Days Later who was my Youngest and only 30 Years of age.My utmost Respect,and good Hunting....... richardmclaud@aol.com Richard
