Martha Emma HUGHES appears on the Hester Roll in 1883. She lists the nearest post office as Dawsonville, GA. She also lists her "ancestor" as Priestly WILLIS, who appears next on the roll. (His brother, Pickens WILLIS has appeared often in my search.) Was she the former Martha Emma PHILLIPS, who married my ggrandfather, Martin Tillman HUGHES in Dade County, GA in 1872?
Any help will be so appreciated.
