I am searching for information about my paternal grandfather’s (Chester W. Wilson) family. His mother was
Ellen Alsie White b. 16 February 1855 Miller County, Georgia d. 28 July 1919 Rusk County, Texas. She married #1 William Wilson (Willson) and had 3 children: James Wilson -died as a child and buried in Georgia, Lura C. Wilson Williams, and (my grandfather) Chester W. Wilson b. 25 January 1875 in (possibly Miller County) Georgia and d. 14 June 1949 buried Chalk Hill, Rusk County, Texas.
Ellen married # 2 Andrew W. Thompson and had two children: Johnny Thompson and Emma Thompson. Ellen and Andrew Thompson left Georgia and arrived in Rusk Co., Texas 1879.
I suspect her parents are Thomas L. White and Missouri Lambert married 03 July 1853 Decauter County, Ga. But, I have not been able to prove this yet. Ellen had 3 sisters: Linnie White, Betsy or Betty White, and Sally White.
I appreciate any information I can find on these families: Ellen White & her parents, William Wilson's parents and siblings, and his date / place of death.
