Would like information on John I. Reeves. b. ca. 1852, Talbot Co., GA. I find John in the household of Thomas J. Reeves and Mary Buckner Reeves on the 1860 Census of Talbot County, GA. He is listed as 8 years old. Other siblings were Elizabeth, Wiley and Martha. On the 1870 census of Muscogee Co., GA., I find John boarding, 17 years old, and working for the railroad. He is single. In 1880 I find John on the Davidson County, TN. Census, working for the railroad, single and 27 years old. In 1900, I find John I. Reeves in Franklin Co., GA., 49 years old, with wife, Ella L.,22 years old, born in GA. and daughter Allie May,4 years old, born in GA. He is listed as a fisherman. In 1910, I find John I. Reeves in Decatur Co, GA., listed as 58 years old, in the household with B. Giles, 38 years, Emma Giles, 31 years, Johnie Giles, 3, Mattie Giles 1 & 6/12. The last one listed in the household is Allie May, 12 years old. There is also a note on this census that says, Recovery, Decatur, Georgia. Does anyone have information on this family?
