John Casagrande November 1, 1920 - April 26, 2007 Funeral services for John Casagrande, 86, of Bainbridge, will be held today, Saturday at 4 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. James H. Clendinen officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery. Mr. Casagrande was born in Lansing, Ohio. He was a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps and flew C-47's and gliders during World War II. He was a retired office manager for Cato's Nursery and a member of V.F.W. Post 4904, as well as St. John Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Willa Stegall Casagrande of Bainbridge; two sons, Randy Casagrande of Leesburg, Ga., and David Casagrande of Bainbridge; two brothers, Carl Casagrande of Cleveland, Ohio, and Frank Casagrande of hazleton, Pa.; and one grandson, Dustin Casagrande of Leesburg. The family will not have a scheduled visitation. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.
