John Casagrande
November 1, 1920 - April 26, 2007
Funeral services for John Casagrande, 86, of Bainbridge, will be held today, Saturday at 4 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. James H. Clendinen officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.
Mr. Casagrande was born in Lansing, Ohio. He was a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps and flew C-47's and gliders during World War II. He was a retired office manager for Cato's Nursery and a member of V.F.W. Post 4904, as well as St. John Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Willa Stegall Casagrande of Bainbridge; two sons, Randy Casagrande of Leesburg, Ga., and David Casagrande of Bainbridge; two brothers, Carl Casagrande of Cleveland, Ohio, and Frank Casagrande of hazleton, Pa.; and one grandson, Dustin Casagrande of Leesburg.
The family will not have a scheduled visitation. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episopal Church, 516 East Broughton Street, Bainbridge, Georgia 39817.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
