I'm interested in the James Washington KENNEDY Family and his Ancestors. He is listed as born abt 1842 in VA or GA. age 78 1920 census in Kendricks, Decatur, GA. age 89 10 years later. Wife is Polly Ann JUMP. They married abt 1863. May have lived in Sumpter Co, GA a while. I'm having a difficult time finding him earlier than 1920 on a census. His father is Jesse Kennedy. Sons Jack C and Wm Preston Kennedy.
