Sue Ellen, Thank you so much for this information. What a wonderful website DeKalb Co has! I nosed around in it but apparently, William Cessna didn't stay long in Dekalb but in RootsWeb/Ancestry.com census of 1880, I have a William and Julia Cessna living in Phillips, DeKalb Co....and there were some kids there as well....Scholott (Charlotte?, Mary, Henrietta and a Charlie.......all in DeKalb and Wm and Julia's kids. This William was born @ 1827, Julia was born @ 1837 and the kids are as follows: Scholott, 1860, Mary, 1862, Henrietta, 1864 and Charlie, 1866. Would like very much to make contact with anyone related to this family or find out any information on this group or individuals. I am a Cessna researcher and have now expanded my research to track down the Cessna's that remained in Georgia in the 1790's/1800's while the rest appear to have migrated into Kentucky and Mississippi. I am a Muhhlenberg Co,Kentucky Cessna and have made contact with the Mississippi Cessna group but I want to do the Georgia group because, of course, this could very well clear up or lend clues to some of the missing info in Ky and Ms. ANY Cessna info out of Georgia is welcome!!!!! Sue Ellen, thank you again for your assistance!! Cheryl Cessna Fresno, Calif Notify Administrator about this message?
