My Grandfather said he was borned and reared near a train stop (to take on water) halfway between Eastman and McRae. His Name was James Thomas Merritt, b. 1885, His father - Charley Merritt, b. abt 1852, mother - Eliza Davis, b. abt. 1858. Anyone know name of the stop or have any info on the Merritts. Thanks.
