Scott Bennett is named as being the father of Walter Lee Bennett on his SS application and I would assume all of the other children. I have not been able to find out anything about Scott Bennett or anything about the last name Patilla,
At the time of the SS application for Walter lee, his current address was 446 Mayo st , Americus Georgia. Employed by Albany Sheet Metal Works located in Albany Georgia.. SS# 258-12-6734
Walter d.6-1975 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Woodsrun area, married (no date) Velma Mott(Bennett)b.8-16-1916 d.11-1987 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, east liberty area daughter of Ada Adkins b. 3-10-1892 (cars Adkins & Liza Edwards of Vienna Dooly Georgia) Ada married (no date) Henry Mott.
Walter and Velma had 12 children, one of whom I know for certain was born in Americus Georgia, Roberta Bennett b. 12-14-1934, address listed on birth cert is 509 lindsey alley.
Edward Lee Bennett b. 8-16-1940 Americus Georgia (currently living in California)
If anyone is interested in the Mott’s, I have some info on Mott’s still living in Americus, Georgia.
Also I have access to the some of the censuses, so if you have a name you would like for me to look up, please let me know. And please if there is anyone out there that can help me please do so, I have hit a brick wall as far as Scott Bennett, it seems as though he never existed,
