I am researching an Ancestor who lived in Dougherty County during the time of the 1860 Census.
P.A. Crawford is listed as being 32 years old with a wife and two young boys, he was from Columbia County and returned there when the war started and enlisted with his Brother Robert in Co K of the 48th Ga Infantry
he was killed at Gettysburg on July 2 1863.

I am trying to fnd out what happend to his family.
if anyone has access to the pension or other records in the county and can do a look up for me I would be most grateful.
